About the talk
Where would we be without agronomy? Our ora, whether a delightful poppy, hops, or cannabis, requires the necessities of life, just like we do. As in nature, sunlight, water, balanced nutrition, love, music ensure full plant genetic expression. Yes... love and music are a must. The agronomist understands these things as they work towards not only cultivating healthy, happy plants, but also providing sanctuaries for the plants to survive and thrive. Through aligning with nature in breeding, seeding, and feeding along with maintaining soil quality, sunlight, and favorable climate conditions, the agronomist ensures that the plant is cherished. And we all know what happens when that's not the case.

So a quick intro on myself, my name is Sundarajan Mutialu, Founder and CSO of Azentive. Wellness and sustainability company. But we also do a significant amount of work in the emerging technologies and our goal is biomimicry and working on technologies towards a wrap-around nature. Because nature, in our mind, already engineered it. On our panel is Michael Stevens, he has been an innovator in the cannabis community for the last 25 years Michael studied chemistry at San Diego State University.
Relocated to San Francisco in 1997 and integrated into the Bay Area medical arena. During that time he developed a number of popular cannabis hybrids. The most notable being Jedi Cultivar. And the past 6 years he's been working on the development of industrial process for micropropagation of cannabis starter plants and he Co-founded Meristematic. He is basically doing a very high-tech Nursery that produces real Team starter plants and the company also is special in removing problematic pathogens.
